My 2019 has never been above setting 2 when I'm really feeling chilly, and that's driving at 45 degrees with the windows open because I'm bringing home fast food weather.

However, I run warm and live in Orange County, so that could be why. I'm also coming from a BMW that didn't have heated seats because they love to nickel and dime. My Lexus definitely gets hotter than my Acuras did.

Mine gets "warm," but not hot. I'm in Colorado. My wife's GMC and my previous Chevy both got significantly hotter.

I'm actually driving a 2018 F-sport and I've owned a 2015 F-Sport. Steering wheel heater is bad on the 2018... it was hotter on my 2015. Now, it's barely warm. As for heated seats, they are same for both... medium heat I would say. They go warm but not hot. As comparison, I can't stand the heated seats in my wife's bimmer, it burns too much! I have to lower it. So yes, Lexus' heated seat are still too weak.

I’m gonna bring it this Friday for a check. Now I’m interested to see if mine is “within spec”. Too much inconsistency in all these posts..I’ll definitely let ya guys know the result

I came from a 2014 BMW 328i. My 2016 IS300 definitely does not get as hot. Additionally, you can code the BMW's seat to go up a degree or two (C) at its highest setting. Not sure what is customizable on the IS300 yet.

That being said, I never went above a 1 or 2 on the BMW, so a 3 on the Lexus is perfect! I do miss having a heated steering wheel though.

Yeah, I have a heated steering wheel in my IS and don't think I could go back. FWIW, I think the steering wheel heats up an awful lot more quickly than the seats.
