Recently, I changed the battery on my car and everything works out fine. Until when I turn off my car and step out to lock it then it beeps. Then I look through my window and it states that key is not inside the car. What should I do? Is this something dealing with the ECU?
No I dont have it in there. Why? Does that have to do with the car beeping if I had my spare key inside while I have another key with me outside?
Mine did the same thing until I had both keys in hand outside the car and then locked it. it would beep as long as one of the keys was in the car. This is to ensure we never lock our keys in the car.

Ok...let's clarify this...you try to lock the vehicle from the outside using the Touch handle or remote and its beeps? How long? Like a 10 second continuous beep?
If the info readout says "Key Not Detected", then the vehicle is still ON...whether it's on ACC (Accessory) or IG (Ignition On).
