I know people have worn this one out, but I've looked for grille options, and other than converting the entire front bumper to F-sport, there are no options.

I have a friend that does a lot of fab work for a high horsepower performance shop, that another friend of mine owns. What do you guys think? Has anyone tried fabbing anything? The factory base grille is just not attractive. Its like they could not decide on 1 style.

 

I'm looking into the same thing, I have some ideas like getting a stock grill and modding it with a diamond grill material painted black gloss.
Hope some folks can chime in.

Carid.com has a great replacement grill by E&G Classics for the '14 base model. Comes in 3 finishes and it's a fun install with thorough instructions.

Beware the materials list calls for black spray paint but it is no where in the instructions. You are supposed to paint the part of the lower grill where tabs have been cut or grinded off. It is also to paint the car color portion directly behind the previously mentioned piece. As you can see, I neglected to recognize the latter and now have a white strip behind the grill. Once I have a spare hour or 2 I will hit that with some paint as well.

 

Is that a 2 piece or just the upper portion? Hard to tell in your picture and online.

 

It is only an upper 1 piece. I have searched for months trying to find a lower portion. But I have found absolutely nothing on the market.

I am really surprised that nobody has made an F-sport type grill for the base models. They would sell quite a bit. Maybe there is some sort of strict trademark thing.

 

I think it's more of a demand thing. Seems like they would sell alot but I doubt. Most people who mod have an F-Sport. I knew what I was signing up for ha.
