Aeroflow front splitter???

I like the design better than the others, but I want it a little more subtle (maybe 1 1/2" less). I want to buy one, just to use as a template. I have a friend that does a lot of fab work on autoX cars and Texas mile cars. I can get the ABS sheet for like $80 and make exactly what I want, but will then need to sell the new one.
