Default "Snap" from front suspension?

I have just over 1,000 miles on my '18 350 AWD F, and earlier in the week I thought I heard a snapping sound from the front of the car. I figured it was my imagination. But this morning, after stopping at a stop sign, a few seconds later I heard, and felt an audible "snap" from what I think was under the front of the car. I say it was a "snap" because I'm not quite sure how to describe it. Almost like something was in a bind and suddenly released. Feels like it's brake or suspension related, something under load but not heavy load, as it's not a clunk.

Am I the only one that has had this snapping sound happen?

Haven't had that happen but really can be anything. sway bar end links, shock mounts are the usual culprits. could be settling from manufacturing but i doubt it.

i had a similar sound from my CT the other day when turning slow speed full lock. it's a 2015 with 42k miles. sound never happened again. sometimes metal things just make noise. lol.

Hmmm, I haven't noticed anything while turning, which is why I didn't put this in the other thread. I guess I'll see if it happens again and take it to the dealer.

FWIW, I have the same car (2018 IS350 AWD F-Sport) with 1100 miles. Haven't heard/felt any such sound/thing.

That's the first thing I thought, but it's a pretty strong snap. I guess I'll just monitor it, as it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

Does it happen at very low speed, sharp turn?

No, not turning, and the last time it happened I was completely stopped for a few seconds.

Mine has no issues turning, and it's not a clunk, it's more of a snap.
