Center console wiring help
Trying to hardwire ambience light, does anyone know the color for any of the wires in the center consol that triggers the light to come on when the automatic night time lights come on? Looking for the night time illumination wire and ground wire color in the center console under the shifter.

Hm. Have you tried referring to the TIS? Im not sure but If i had to guess, id say that the auto night time light dimming is controlled via one of the many ecu's in our car. If you tapped any of the auto dim wires, the light you are installing would also go to full brightness during the daytime.
