Talking Random/ funny question.

The lumbar support. So I understand this thing is all about creating a more comfortable seat but has anyone extended theirs all the way forward? It was actually kind of funny to me how far out it came. It seems at that level it would be doing the exact opposite of making you comfortable. If you haven't done it but you have the feature give it a try and see what you think

I too find it pretty silly how far it goes. I don't really need a ton of lumbar anyway - I have mine just barely above the minimum.

So I’ve actually taken a few long trips recently and I can say with confidence the lumbar support is a lifesaver lol. Without it, I was getting really uncomfortable and back pain after a few hours of driving and then I extended the lumbar support and my back pain went away. The next trip I extended the lumbar support out before I started driving and I didn’t experience back pain at all. Obviously I didn’t extend it ALL the way out lol just enough to get good support. I’m sure everyone is different though d:

My AE86 and the early 80s Supras had this pump thing that you would use to manually pump up the lumbar support in the driver's seat. Ah, the good old days. My lumbar in the IS is a feature I don't ever use.
