Infotainment system failed to turn on
Strange thing happen today. Started the car and the warning disclaimer
messsge came on, but it stayed locked on that screen.
Backup camera did not come on and the radio would not respond.
The mouse felt disengaged. Drove for 5 minutes and the screen went
black, and then the system activated normally.
It is about one year to the day that I bought this 2017 IS300.
Maybe it was switching off of the ENFORM free year?
I already paid up for year 2.

Hopefully, it was a one-time thing. But.....pay attention just in case it's not. Some earlier year 3IS's had corrupted infotainment systems. Mine was one of them and was replaced under warranty - no issues since. Mine would randomly reboot, usually on a cold start, but, not always. I recorded it and sent it to my SA. Ticket opened, replacement ordered and installed.
