anyone know what frequency the subwoofer should be set at with a non ML audio system on the Lexus? typically i set it at 100 when that option is available on the radio system. my sub goes from 60 - 120hz but i wanna dial it in at the right frequency.

 

the non ML system came with a sub? never noticed it. just thought the factory stereo sucked, so i put in my own sub 😂.

 

Just depends what you like, what kind of music etc. I find the bass to be muddy when i set mine higher than 70 or so.

but yes non-ml has a sub. its in the rear deck.

 

I usually set at 80 but im usually on FM radio, so...

 

I added a self powered sub (thanks to e46ct's DIY) and it has a control **** that allows to dial in the frequency. I set it at 100 right now and it sounds ok based on the music though. the factory sub on the rear deck i never touched but i'm not sure i want to since it's factory anyway.
