I'm paying $800 to Geico for 6 months $1k collision/$500 comprehensive, $300/500k Bodily Injury Liability. I drive my car only on the weekends so very low mileage. Anyone have recommendations in SF?

I know they advertise a pay per mile sort of thing lately. Don't know much about it. You can just tell your insurance company you don't drive much.

If it's a lease (or even a finance for that matter), there may be restrictions by the lienholder on that though. They are pretty strict about having a fully insured vehicle. Even though you don't drive much, there could be a fire at your garage or some other catastrophe.

Some of the companies are offering tracking devices. My company will offer a large discount if you just accept the device, and a further discount if
the device reports safe driving. The device (I guess) also will confirm that you just drive on weekends. It does not seem to be real-time tracking,
but stores the info on a phone app, and at the end of the three months, they collect the data.
