Glass/Window cleaning?
I have these spots that are not removed by simple wipe of damp towel. I use rain-x stuff on the windshield, so I tried them too but it didn't remove them. When I use my finger nail, they seem to get off, but I have not tried on all of them. Any idea what they are and how I got them? It's not from hard water.

While we are at it........any tips on cleaning the insides of windows?
After 6 months, I am getting that foggy build up.
I use Glass Plus.....spray it on a cotton rag.
But I need to go over it several time to eliminate streaks and fog.

I picked up some kind of windshield/glass cleaning microfiber cloth. To my surprise works really well.
Normally works good enough just the dry cloth. Or, I use one cloth damp with water, than finish with dry cloth. No solvents or cleaning solutions have been needed.

Yep just use a microfiber. Nothing needed on it. Can spritz on some glass cleaner I suppose. But for tinted windows I wouldn't since you may dull the film.
Don't forget to remove the brake light and clean the glass behind it!

How do you guys wash microfiber towels? I threw them in washer and then dryer. I feel like there are small particles that left on the windows when I wipe over it dry.

Yeah I usually wash them in the washer and dryer, but sometimes they get little pieces of lint stuck to them, even when I use a dryer sheet. If that's what you are experiencing, just make sure and wipe off the small particles when the car is totally dry.

Yup Chemical Guys have great instructions on the microfiber towels. When you wash them you're supposed to wash them with other microfiber towels and only use detergent and nothing else. They say never dry them in the dryer. If you put them in the dryer you're supposed to just use the "air fluff" (no heat) option or hang them somewhere to dry (this prevents the fibers from burning up). I follow this and my microfiber towels have stayed brand new pretty much.
