I'm pretty sure all 3IS' can use the F Sport filter. Haha

I guess I should’ve clarified. I was wondering if the whole kit, tube, box, and filter would work. Lol I like the looks of it, but I did a search on K&N’s site and they don’t offer it for the 300’s but they do for the others, while the Lexus states the 200 and 350 as well. I’d just hate to order one and it not work, then be stuck. Thanks for the help btw.

Ohhhhh you mean the actual F Sport intake kit. I am not sure about that one as I only know the filter itself is compatible with all the 3IS. What year is your car?

Google the part #s for all the individual parts on the 300 vs 350 which the F Sport intake applies to. intake tube, box, couplings, etc. same? then it should fit.

Okay, so after some digging, the parts are interchangeable between the IS350 base/F-Sport and the 300 of the same. I do appreciate all the help, looks like I’ll be going ahead with my purchase. 😁

Go F sport! Set it and forget it. Clean (spray cleaner and rinse) every 10k or so.
Shoot now I feel like I should of went with Fsport filter. It was the 2nd day owning the car and well K&N was available across the street at the auto parts store

I've never oiled a filter I'll have to look up how often it needs to be done.

You should have noticed it when you took the air box apart if you didn’t see it then I guess you don’t have it?

Only thing I saw was the existing filter....which I was so excited to get the other in there I tore it out and swapped in 6 seconds.

Is it filtering the inlet to the intake tube? Underneath/ behind the normal air filter.
I should probably just so my research.

F sport filter isn’t going to increase turbo sound. You would have to get an aftermarket short ram intake (Injen, AEM) to hear the turbo a lot more. Or you can try the cutting a hole in the lower portion of the stock intake box (don’t recommend).
