Quote: Anyone else have noticeable wind noise above 45mph with the sunroof closed but interior sun shield slid back? Is my seal sticking out too far, or is that just the design? My '14 ATS never had any wind noise from the sun roof even at 80+. Kind of a bummer having a sunroof, but having to close the sun shield most of the time or deal with the noise. Pretty much the only complaint I have about this car...
I havent noticed it when i drive but I usually blast my music. I'll check it out next time I drive with no music.

Related to the sunroof, I do hear rattles coming from above when I do blast my music.

No notable wind noise at speed with either the sunshade closed or open. In fact, the wind noise to my ear seems to be about the same with the sun shade either open or closed.

What are the LED part numbers for the Lexus IS 200T non-fsport low beam, high beam, and fog light? What is the color temperature on the stock lights?

the LED chipset is integrated into the projector which is integrated into the headlight. they do not use cheap led inserts you find on ebay. you can't replace them like you would a headlight bulb from a 1980s car. as far as the high beam, i haven't inspected the car up close but i think it's a halogen high beam. that's just your typical auto parts store bulb purchase. best to keep that stock.

Woah really? I did not know that. So if one of the low beam lights are out, you need to replace the whole headlight unit? I thought it was a simple replace the bulb. Plug and play

thats correct. But that's why they're so expensive. They're heavily engineered and designed to last the life of the car. Assuming no damage, moisture intrusion, it will last forever.

I actually think the F-Sport headlights are dual LED, so the High Beam is also LED.

Could be i'm not sure. whats the spot on the inside is that a blinker? If so it would be bi-LED (not dual LED). i haven't seen a facelift up close in person.

Yeah we only have one projector on each headlight so I am assuming it is Bi-LED. The inside bulb is indeed the turn signal bulb.

If you remove the A pillar trim, the airbag won't deploy, but you have to consider how you route the wire as to not interfere with the airbag should an impact occur and it needs to deploy.
Many have just wired the dash cam to the rear view harness for power, ground, and ignition. That way everything is done right there where the camera is mounted.
However it depends on what camera you have and how comfortable you are wiring it up.
There are a couple threads about installing the dash cam using the mirror as the electrical source.

The airbag will not go off. Just make sure any wires you run don't interfere with the airbag. They should NOT go in front of the airbag. I suspect any wire in front of the airbag will just be torn or pushed out of the way from the force of the airbag but that's not something you want to find the outcome in a car crash.

2017 IS300 F sport @ 32K

1. Am I going to void my warranty just by replacing the intake/engine filter with an aftermarket?
2. What is the real world maintenance intervals of the transmission fluid?
3. How many total fuel injectors does this car have? According to online information, this model has both direct and port injectors (combined) but didn't mentioned how many (I'm guessing 6 port and 6 direct).
