Unhappy Navigation Loop, Help Please!!!

Hello everyone,

Currently June 27 2018.
I started having issue with my nav system, it is constantly rebooting.
I've tried a couple of trouble shoot (removal of battery and fuse) and it still continues to loop.
I have a 2014 IS250 F sport.
I read several forum and most of them said it was an update issue.
I called the dealership but they wanna charge $300 for diagnostics, is that fair?
Please help me if you can.
Thanks in advance!!!

Read around the other threads here to try what others did. But I have the same issue and nothing has worked for me either. This is a common issue with the 2014s and Lexus is not doing anything about it. Dealer wants me to buy a new stereo receiver for a couple grand since I am out of warranty. I contacted Lexus Canada and they told me to **** off basically. It's a ****ed up situation with no ****s given from Lexus.

There’s a way you can attempt to fix your issue the 1st time, that is to reset your Navi unit. Disconnect the battery for a split second and connect it back. If that does not work you will need to update your software which is not 300 diag but a 70-100 service Lexus can do. This must be requested. Updates have been know. To fix frozen screens and rebooting 90% of the time. The worst thing that can happen is you need a tuner unit and expansion box that can cost up to 4K. Good luck
