Default Water marks embedded in body paint work.

I have an IS250 Convertible manufactured in Nov 2011. The RHS of my car has water marks embedded in the paint work. The dealer says it must be from bore water sprays from the garden. There are micro sprays in the garden bed where my car is parked but it is town water, not bore water. Should the paint work be able to withstand 10 minutes every 2 days being splashed by town water?

I have the exact same issue. I actually went to a car wash bay late an night to be able to hand wash my car with my own products and i believe the water at the bay was not clean. After drying my car off the next day i noticed water spots on my car, i did not think anything of it and thought i just missed a few spots whilst washing.

I left the spots on for a week and then when i tried to clean off the water spots they would not come off. I then re-washed my car and tried polishing the spots out but they are now permanent. I am not too sure what else i can do apart from getting the car professionally cut n polished which would cost over $500 dollars.

Very annoying as my car is only 4 years old and this never happened to any of my other cars. I would leave my car dirty for 1-2 weeks and after washing no water spots at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like pretty bad water etching from hard water. You can try vinegar in an inconspicuous area first then polish back out. If that doesn’t work, you will need a light compound, such as Meguiar’s Ultimate compound, followed up with polish and wax. Hope this helps ya out.
