water spots

Default water spots

My water here is terrible. I got water spots that wont come out .....

Any suggestions how to get them out and keep from returning..

im no expert detailer but what you can do is try to claybar the tough spots out. and clean the car yourself next time using mr.clean auto dry: best bang for the buck imho!

It will strip wax, (though probably not a sealant), so re-wax afterward.

Keeping a sealant on the paint and keeping the car from the hard water (not always possible with rain of course) is about the only thing you can do to prevent it. A car cover would help, and not allowing water to sit on the car in the sun as well.

If you have hard water add a water softener. You will be surprised how softened water improves everything (laundry, longevity of appliances, etc). I'd also suggest washing your car when the paint is cool and wash it in the shade if possible. Dry immediately by sheeting the water off the surface with a hose with the nozzle removed and following up with a waffle-weave microfiber towel. NXT Car Wash by Meguiar's is made to perform well in hard water so you might try that as well.
