I heard differently. 340hp. Maybe that's underpowered for you?
It's underpowered when equivalent cars like GT-R and NSX are over 550hp.
Even the LC500 or RC F is 450+.
340hp is what you find on a 440i and C43.
Even Q60 Redsport has more than 400hp.
So yes it's underpowered with only 340hp.

It's underpowered considering you can get a V6 Camaro that makes 335hp. You can get a Camaro SS or Mustang GT that will be faster AND cheaper (according to current insider information) than a 340hp Supra that shares an engine and chassis with notoriously unreliable BMW. The Supra isn't even going to be a lightweight car at 3300+lbs. Unless something drastically changes, the Supra is looking to be a big disappointment. I hope it's not though.
The G70 is a great car, at least according to all the reviews I've read. The interior is also great. The styling is a lot less polarizing than the IS, but I don't think that's a bad thing for a lot of people. The IS has that love it or hate it styling. Congrats, and let us know how it is!
If I keep my IS long enough, I wouldn't mind stepping into an LS at that time...if the timing is right.
If the styling of the GS is improved by then, that would also be a consideration.
I love my Toyota/Lexus!
Either a Cayman or a large SUV like the Land Cruiser.
Or anything in between?
I'd love a Cayman as a daily. I've seen reviews where they are surprisingly easy to drive around town and pretty smooth. However, I don't know if I'd be willing to sacrifice the practicality of a sedan.

I hear you, sometimes the IS makes me feel cramped, so I want a bigger car. Then again, if I can handle the size of an IS, I’d like to try a nimble coupe.
I'm actually looking at getting the new Alfa Romeo QV. I've always wanted a European car, but not anything from BMW or M-b or even Audi. I'm so glad that Alfa created this car, it is absolutely exactly what i want in a performance sedan that i can still use to get groceries in and run errands with my young daughter. The only downfall for this type of car is reliability but i will have a second car as backup and probably during the winter months.
I'm surprised nobody as said anything about this car yet? lol
Just love this look!
I just started getting emails from Lexus this month because i’ve only got a year to go on my IS350 lease. I saw a non-quadrafoglio Guilia on the way home on Wednesday night. Even in that form, it’s a very nice looking car. I am concerned about the reliability. I grew up with 70s era Fiats and they were very hit and miss for reliability. Then Fiat was not even then Alfa. Both are back in the US market and seemingly without the issues of old. The thing is, even the old Toyota cars didn't have the reliability issues. When I bought my AE86 in 1994, I didn’t miss the feeling that, any time I needed to drive 100 miles, something might leave me stuck on a roadside somewhere. I should probably forgive the Italians for all of it, particularly because it’s now 40+ years later and Alfa is not Fiat. Still, the Toyota and Lexus cars have never left me stuck. I also love my IS350. Rioja Red interior is what sold me on my previous ‘14 250 S Sport and my current ‘16 has red guts too. I do love the car, but am also still considering the Giulia. I might consider a Benz, but maybe not for long. BMW is out. I’ve heard they don’t come with turn signals.
Ideally, the NX would be it but I don't like the lack of 3.5L option. I know from a business standpoint it doesn't make sense since it could potentially compete with the RX but that's too large for my liking.
So, I will probably get back into an IS or get a GS if it's still around next year.
