i have a 2014 and i'm getting about the same mileage as you apparently its"normal" to the tech over at my lexus dealership. After driving a while i'm getting about 250-300KM a tank
I'm getting almost double that on my 2104 250 AWD (525-550kms per tank) and I don't drive a lot on the highway. Something doesn't seem right at all...just my opinion.
I would take it somewhere else for a second opinion.
They only way I can see you getting that mileage is if you drove it around town, no highways, and was using the gas pedal like an On/Off switch lol
Man that’s really low, I took this desicion based on some comments regarding the 250 AWD compared to the 350 AWD, I mean gas wise, much of them were saying that mileage was pretty close, but now I’m just realizing that is much worse.
Well I guess I have to swallow the bullet now.
Thanks
but the problem is some other member's car has better mileage then mine too... I'm sitting at about 15-16L/100KM and other members here with the exact model sitting at 12.5-13 ....
A few things you can do
1) Check tire pressure
2) Change/Inspect spark plugs
3) Run out the tank and fill it up withh premium fuel like many suggested.

Thanks, I’m on my way to check all that, I’m just going to burn what’s left in the tank and fill it up with premium, also spark plugs are brand new and tire presure is at 36 PSI each one.
You're breaking in the motor, you're not supposed to gently push it during break in period. Keep it in Sport Mode to keep the revs up and drive with varying RPM's.....
I starting to think that my decision of signing for the car was more emotional rather than rational, ... I honestly thought that the gas mileage was better.
If there's any consolation @ Makool a lot of us are in the exact same boat IMPULSE BUYING. Lexus sales folks as laid back as they might seem are skilled at encouraging this.
See some pix of my IS350 FSport all covered up in Los Angeles, jealous of all the other cars getting lotsa exercise, while I'm working out east. Suspect I might drive it only 5 months per year so maybe I should sell it. ANY TAKERS?? Some friends recommend pouring a gas additive in the tank before ever starting up again!!
PS >>> mind telling us your OTD price $$$ and the interior color?

I believe you’re right I did that with the first car but never to aggressive, I’m going to have to drive it a little more like if I stole it.

I know what you mean man, I think that will be me in a few months, I hope it gets better, I’ll report back maybe I get a miracle and the gas mileage improves.
I got the black interior, I had the Rioja Red before so I wanted to try it, kind of regretting it too. I was able to get the car for 53K CAD all in after discounts, trade in and promotion. My monthly Payment went up only 60$, and my insurance only 8$.

If your car is Brand New then actually that is EXTREMELY GOOD = 41k USD coz in the USA that car brand new would be around ~50k USD OTD = 64k CDN. Are taxes included in the 53k?
PS >>> with Vancouver's lack of freeways & highways unfortunately the best gas mileage might achieve is 20 mpg = 9 kpl but that's still better than LA street driving.

Yes, I actually had 3000$ off FSport credit, then I owned the other lexus so they gave me good trade in value and another 1500$ discount the rear passenger window had some scratches so the value of the repair and labor was applied in the deal instead.
I have the AWD version and i have a ratio of 50/50 on highway vs street and i get a very constant 14.8 l/100 km and full tank only gets me like 400 km. Yup, you will be in shock lol.

Should I increase PSIs?
Remember is 36 psi cold start...that's the recommendation. Honestly i don't think the psi play a part. I have my psi all over the place and my mileage is still same old ****. It only got better when i had my F sport intake but then i have remove it and have another after market intake and now my mileage is back to the normal 15L/100 km.

Yep - fully agree - unless you live somewhere with zero stop signs & traffic lights, or doing clear highway rolling, and ALWAYS in Eco Mode to boot, I will never, ever, believe getting better than 24 mpg on an IS 350 FSport.
