Consider the bright side > with the fold down seats your skis will fit perfectly for a trip up to Whistler thereby experiencing pretty good gas mileage but the down side to that is with all the snow up there you have rust to worry about!

Don't worry OP, I also have an is350. It really hurts paying for prem, when the car only sees city driving!
Considering I also live in Vancouver, I'm blessed with having a short daily bus commute to work everyday.

Oh and BTW, there's no such thing as an "IS350/IS250 AWD 3 series"
"IS350" is a Lexus product. Whereas a "3 series" is a BMW product like the 325is in my avatar <<
As you can clearly see, that's not a Lexus/Toyota product.

the gas mileage on my 350 is awful. full tank and it says i should get around 350 kms. i drive mostly in the city with lots of stop and go traffic. it’s currently rated at 15.9L/100 kms. gross. my old v6 accord with vcm got around 450 kms per tank with regular fuel.

Default Me too

I have a ‘14 IS 350 F Sport. I live in the Chicago suburbs. The best mpg I had was 25
on a road trip. Typically 19 combined. I drive in ECO mode as well. Hope that helps. Hi guys,

I’ve been a member for some time already, I went for an oil change last week and my sales lady got me a really good deal on 2018 is 350AWD 3 series, I used to own a 2015 is 250AWD 3 series as well, my car was in immaculate condition so the trade in value was really high and I used it as downpayment towards the 350, I have a question, I was driving the car during the weekend and I know that the gas mileage in 250s were bad but I feel the 350 is even worse is this my perception or is anything I might be doing wrong? I drive in ecomode for now just to check the gas mileage, I read some threads and looks like some people is getting good mileage in 350s, I wanted this car because the power and I knew that gas won’t be the same, but I also read they were close to the 250s, any tips you guys want to share with me?

Thabks in advance.

BTW I’m Canada.

Having a short trip to work via transit it’s in fact convenient, you’re right about the “3 series” I meant to say series 3 just as Lexus mentions in their adds.

I used to have an Acura 3.5 as well and the gas mileage was wayyyy better, I’m mentally prepared after this tread to spend more in gas.

Thanks for sharing, I’m ready to dig in my pocket and spend a little more in gas, I guess that’s the price to pay for having a 350AWD.

I have a 2014 IS250, and last Thanksgiving, I drove it from Phoenix to Sacramento. On my way home, I did one full tank on ECO mode to see what kind of mileage I'd get vs Sport mode. I actually got worse mileage in ECO mode than I did in Sport mode. It was about 24mpg in ECO mode vs 27mpg in Sport mode.

Thanks, that’s interesting, I’m planning to fill up on Friday will test this theory, usually most of the time I o my drive eco-mode because is suppose to give you better mileage according to info from the Servide Dept, will try this for sure.
