Dealership asked me $330 to have the feature installed and I saw the kit above which is $250 I believe? The problem with this feature period is that you have to press the lock button 3 times and then hold it on the 3rd / 4th press (I forget), it's kind of hit or miss and the range is abysmal.

i had the app in jan-march or dec -feb, it was cool.
but for someone who plans on keeping car for a long time, by the 8 year, that's about$800.

i rather pay $300-500 one time fee

and they don't even have any deals or the pricing with the pandemic going on...smh

Complaints are valid.

There is no reason to disable the remote start from the FOB other than Lexus being a bunch of cockbags. In addition, if you remote start the car then open the door... it shuts off immediately. That is ****ing stupid. The car knows whether the key is present, so don't come at me with "someone might steal the car!"

I had the paid subscription for about 2 weeks. Lexus Enform and all the included apps are GARBAGE. The technology in this car is it's biggest downfall. Completely inferior.

Watch out with talking bad about Lexus on here, some people might get upset.

Ohh my precious lexus ... don't say bad things about my precious little lexus.

Agree with that auto-off feature - I feel like my starter just lost 1 life everytime I use my remote start.

No one is forcing you to use it.
Missing the point entirely!

I installed remote start (not Enform) primarily for the winters. I'd rather the heated seats and interior have a head start on warming up before I enter the vehicle. But I agree that the AC in these cars tends to kick in fairly quickly, so I've rarely used the remote start for summer. I'm still fish bowling it too, so I've been pleasantly pleased with it not being too hot inside the car.

You would think a "luxury' car would have it.
Agreed! That's one of the things I miss about my Fusion. Remote start was on the key fob, and the range was fantastic. Range on the Lexus fob is a bit disappointing.
Sidenote: The cooling might have something to do with the color scheme too. My Fusion was black on black. I NEEDED the remote start in the summer to cool off the interior before I got in. That car was always boiling hot.

Edit: Dammit man! You dug up a year old thread. LOL! I didn't pay attention to the dates before replying.
