Lexus has a different OEM spoiler for North America than the rest of the world. Don't ask me why. The one we get here has this dog-bone look which for me doesn't look as elegant as the other one. The edges flare and spread flat out around the corner. So I'm thinking of changing it. The 2017 IS I bought had a preinstalled spoiler. Question. Is my spoiler drilled/bolted on not just taped? If yes, is there a semi-ok way to cover the holes as by looks of it, the corner holes will not be covered will the holes if I replace it with the non-NA OEM spoiler. Below pic order: (1) NA spoiler (2) Nonj-NA spoiler (3) pic of someone installing the NA spoiler with the four drill spots, so may help to guess if these will be covered when I switch. What do you guys think. TY.

The international OEM spoiler probably has a high chance of not covering the holes drilled on the ends of the trunk.
The US spoiler if installed properly by the Port or dealership should be bolted down.
I have the international spoiler style (replica) and I just looked at mine and sorry to say it will not cover your holes. The location of those holes are exposed on the international spoiler. I'm hoping your oem spoiler is not bolted down and only installed with double-sided tape. See if you see any bolts while looking underneath the trunk.
I saw plenty in eBay selling the international spoiler, some prepainted. I need ultra white. I'm doing a tail light switch soon so will remove trunk back cover and see if it's really bolted. Pic below suggests the hole location from specONE's video may be covered. Have a feeling I'm gonna go for it anyway, but that's project #2.
GREAT news! Took a chance on swapping the NA spoiler to the international one and happy to say the drill holes are 100% covered and then some. So if anyone wants to do this mod, you can no issues. Here's pics of my install. I borrowed the wife's eyeliner lol to mark outline of the international spoiler. There's a 1/4 inch easy space past the drill hole that's covered.
The link says it’s for 2014-16, would it work for the 17&18 MY as well? Or is there a difference between the models trunks from 2014-16 and the 2017-18?
