Assuming you meant 19X8.5 +38 front, and 19X9.5 +38 rear...the rear will be fine.
The front is going to be a little close to the fender edge...it might rub. Something closer to a +32 or +35 in the front will clear without issues.

No the wheels are actually 8.75 front and 9.75 rear. they are XXR's 527. Why would 38 offset be an issue? Arent the stock wheel a 45 offset?

Do you have rubbing issues with your 20" and 35 offset in front? looks like you have same suspension

I just test fit my new summer wheels yesterday as temps hit 70 degress in Pennsylvania (tease)

I went with the following wheel setup on my 2017 IS300 - F Sport AWD (Stock Suspension w/ only 6k miles on car)

FORGESTAR F14 (Gloss Black)

FRONT
19x9 et 35
235/35/19

REAR
19x10 et 42
265/35/19

* No rubbing or anything... Fit Perfectly!!!

The stock wheel is 18X8 +45mm offset. The increase of .75 inches is roughly 19mm added to the width of the rim.
So going to a +38mm moves the outside of the wheel outwards 7mm from stock, plus half of the 19mm (9.5mm) for a total of 16.5mm towards the fender.
On the back of the wheel, the rim would now be about 2.5mm closer to the suspension.

As I thought 8.75 was a typo, my comment was based on 8.5.
Looking at the numbers for the 8.75, you should be ok.

Only If i turn the wheel to full lock, it rubs on the vent in the inner fender, otherwise driving it's fine.

Square vs Staggered is a debate that can go on for pages here lol
I think for AWD the important thing to aim for is to have the front and rear wheels have the same circumference no matter the rim width, or if you wanted to even do a different height of the rim.
Once all the wheels are the same circumference, it won't affect the AWD system.
Outside of that, Lexus offers the IS AWD in both staggered and square fitment depending on the model you have...soooo...

How about a 8.75 squared with a 35 offset? I’m trying get the 530 from xxr. Sorry for revising such an old one.
Also any issues with the calipers hitting in the frt with this offset?
