hello all. I just bought a 2014 is350 f sport today and had to drive it a coupe hours back. naturally i tried to use cruise control but it wasn't working. I've owned a previous 2is and figured it would be the same. when you push in the on/off button on the end it should give me light on the dash right? I get absolutely nothing. Please tell me I'm just stupid because i don't want to take this car to dealer already (still under warranty)

Push the button in at the end of the stock. Once at desired speed, push down (toward your legs) to activate the cruise control.

Yes, it says "Cruise Control Ready"

Check your owners manual for exact verbiage. This is on my 2017 with active radar.

even though the light doesn't indicate that the system is on, does it actually work when you're on the expressway?

When I attempt to set it, it says to turn cruise on. So then i push the on/off button again and I try to set and It says the same thing.

You get two lights. Ready and On. If its not working its time to take it back.

push the button, a green light appears on the dash.

move the lever downwards, another light appears on the dash.

Think of it as a option on, option activated sequence. Then you can remove your foot from the accelerator, once cruising, you can push down on the lever to lower your cruise speed, or pull up on the lever to increase the cruise speed.

Just wondering if maybe you had turned the Traction Control off? In that case, I've noticed, the cruise control will not work.
