key fob will not work

My 08 Lexus 350 was locked for 40 minutes and when I tried to open it with the key fob that locked it I cannot get any response from the car I tried my alternate key fob and same thing I cannot even engage the siren

Maybe a dead car battery. Can you unlock it with the mechanical\physical key?
