Question Climate control AC buttons sticking (getting stuck and not rebounding)

Particularly the "AUTO" climate control button and the "lower fan speed" button. Both buttons noticeably take more effort to press compared to the rest and they get stuck and do not rebound after pressing. So when I turn on AUTO, it gets stuck and it's hard to turn off. I had to quite forcibly tap it a few times and slowly assist it up. The "lower fan speed" button is basically the same. This is on a 2014 IS350 AWD F-Sport.

Anyone having the same issue? I'm planning to call the dealership in a bit to see if this can be repaired/replaced under warranty.

Have you tried cleaning around the buttons with a playing card or a pin or something thin?

Check with the Lexus dealer if you can get the unit replaced under warranty.

Same problem. Dealer will attempt to spray some actuator lubricant in there that may or may not work. It kind of helped in my car. I don't use the buttons often it hasn't bothered me enough again to push LExus to fix it.

I just dropped the car off this morning at my Lexus dealership. They're going to replace the whole climate control panel assembly under warranty.
