Yeah, I thought as much about this troll. His previous ramblings refers to his past "Gems" that includes a "Mitzubisi" Mirage, a Jetta, and a Chrysler Sebring.
Hahaha. Yeah those are "gems" but a brand new Lexus 2017 IS200T is "shlt".
Ironic how he hates plastics but those cars are made from it, front to back, inside and out.

Are there any pricing information out for the 2018 models?
I’m also guessing these models will be dropping in the next 2-3 weeks?

I’m contemplating waiting till the 2018 models drop to see if I can secure an even lower OTD price but I have a feeling no one’s going below 37k OTD on a 2017 IS 200t F Sport model.

I’m sure the softer suspension will help keep the interior quality together longer as well.
I have driven both, the F-sport does make a noticeable difference over the ones without that option.

The 350 F Sport has the best suspension because it’s the only one that comes with the AVS. None of the other models come with Sport+. It really changes the handling feel of the car and is much better.

Hopefully this weekend, I'll be test driving the 2017 IS 200t F Sport. Try to get a comparison vs the non F-Sport model as far as how the suspension feels.

I like my 2015's F-Sport suspension. It's not too rough but you can feel mostly everything on the road just in a nice smooth way. Hope I explained that well. Honestly, it's that front grille on the F-Sport which makes it worth getting that model. Wonder if that change can be made...hmm..

Dude sounds like a complete troll in his all bold post, surprised he didn't throw in a few more exclamations to try to prove his point there.

Anyways, overtaking in the IS200t improves if you're in Normal or Sport mode respectively. If you like using the paddles then you probably won't have a problem with the lag.
Delay is EXTREMELY horrible in Eco mode which I usually drive in since it is a good mode to be in when you've been a speed demon the past few days and are trying to force yourself to relax.

Now it has come up that the 2018 IS350 F-Sports are coming with a limited slip differential. Due to the renaming of the IS300 and how lowkey a lot of the information is, I'm not sure if that will also be included with the 2018 IS200t/IS300.
I do know that they offer the LSD in both F-Sport RC 200t/350 so I would hope they'd do the same for 2018 IS. Personally, that is a HUGE deal and really wish I could've gone with the LSD.
If you're not planning on having THAT kind of fun for the car (and most people won't), I'd only hold off for 2018's just to get a lower price for the 2017's. I believe I got something like $36k-$37k OTD for my '17 200t and that was back at the end of March.

That sounds like an EXTREMELY good deal to get in March for a 2017 model. Was that for an F-Sport model?

I am contemplating holding off but one thing I have to factor in is that every month I hold off, I have to pay $438 to my lease which could go towards actual payments for a car. I'm just not sure if they'll drop the 2017 price by $500-1000 in the next month or two.

Here the details from Lexus.

http://pressroom.lexus.com/lexus/rel...ating+ride.htm

What’s New for 2018
  • Enform Safety Connect Complimentary for First 10 Years of Ownership
  • Enform Service Connect Complimentary for First 10 Years of Ownership
  • Available Comfort Package includes Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross- Traffic Alert
  • Backup Camera standard on all models
  • Adaptive Front Lighting System Available
  • Five Horsepower Increase (IS 300 AWD, IS 350 RWD and IS 350 AWD)
  • Limited Slip Differential (IS 350 RWD with F SPORT only)
Interesting to see a 5 HP increase as well from all cars except 300 RWD. Looks like AFS makes a return!

Wow. This is definitely worth waiting a few weeks for. If the price is similar or even a few hundred more, I would go for the 2018.

The Enform stuff would be a good reason to wait. That'll save you a bit of money each year - that is if you want to use that stuff (and I would recommend it).

The difference wouldn't just be a few hundred more, wouldn't it be more?
I thought the difference might be around 2k for the base or F-Sport models.
