I know im just making fun of thing. The old mans watch can stay. what ever. But the design in the inside is horrible. I gotta go to work. I have not seen the 2018. I just know what I drove was a peice of ****

I’m assuming the interior is the same as the 2015 IS 250. I haven’t had any interior issues with mine, granted it only has 17k miles on it so far. But for an F-Sport suspension, it’s been solid for me. Unless my expectations were low.

December to Remember is a gimmick to get people into the dealership. There is no actual sale and the interest rates are the same year round. 2018 models should arrive in 3-4 weeks if you want to wait. I do no think there are any improvements as the 2017 is already the refreshed model. $37k OTD is a very good price. When I bought my 200T, it was $42k OTD, with a lot of bargaining.

i got mine 2017 IS200T for the same $42K OTD price and i had to pit two dealers against each other to do it.37k OTD is a screaming deal......go for it!

Yeah, to be honest "detuned" is the way I've heard it typically described, but in practice the torque is limited once you hit about 4200 RPM. In the dyno graph the horsepower dips a bit at 4200 before coming back up to a peak at about 6500. At least the output, particularly torque, is somewhat underrated.
From my drive of the 200t, I'd say the 300 AWD feels a lot more responsive and slightly quicker overall. There is still a slight throttle delay, but you can remedy this with Sport mode or the Apexi throttle controller. (I am considering picking one up but haven't gotten around to it yet.)

Take that response with a couple grains of salt lol. The 2018 has the same interior as the €˜17, which has the same interior as the €˜14- €˜16, aside form cosmetic changes (with BETTER materials I might add). Sounds like he doesn €™t like the 3IS interior, as quite a few 2IS owners have stated.
If you don't care for the 3IS interior, just look elsewhere. No need to come on here and make confusing posts about a "new" model which is having no updates to the interior, which you don't like. FWIW I have seen a 2IS interior in person, and I don't get it. The 3IS is much more advanced and is better to look at.

IF we are talking about 2017 F sports here, I have to say my seats are the most comfortable I have been in at this price point. This is one of the reason why I made the purchase, overall ergonomics are great. As for the "stiff board" comment, this is why you choose the F sport and NOT the NON-F sport models. You want more plush buy a Buick.

But with each generation the cars look design wise to go faster than previous models.

My observation is that for some time now when Lexus does a major update to a model the new ones can get slower....IS350 AND GS450h are examples of this. Possibly same with smaller updates...they have been known to make final drives taller and acceleration suffers too. Quite odd. Other Brand’s do the opposite!

For those of you who have driven the 2017 IS F-Sport vs the non F-Sport model, how big is the suspension difference? Is the non F-Sport that much softer?
I’m sure the softer suspension will help keep the interior quality together longer as well.

nabeel24, you should wait. this is why: I drove it yesterday the 2017 is200t sport. It was fast okay. The Inside of the car was plastic alot of it too. For that kind of money. Look at the dashboard. Look how sit does not blend well and the LCD navigation screen is not built in well. It sticks out like its own peice. Like aftermarket. The leather was not comfortable as my old IS 250 2010. More plush. This was like riding a Stiff board. 38K is the best deal for that car. Besides speed, i mean the inside of the car looks like a Beach car with an Old mans stop watch in the middle of the dash. If you get this car We will Joke the heck outta ya. Look at what you can by for 38k. I would wait for 2018, or look for a different type of model. Dont pay for plastic. Just dont. Take my super advice. By the way it was good on speed, out ran the cops the other day. But I mean come nabeel24.
You're talking about entry luxury here, plastic is what you're going to get regardless of BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc.
If you want a full leather dash, you should visit the 2018 LS forum and then cry at the starting price.
Nothing will change on the 2018. It will be exactly the same as the 2017. You're also not going to find a better interior in this class of cars.
Before I bought the IS200T, I test drove the A4, C300, 335i, 528i, and they all have plastic dash. Yes, even the 5 series is full plastic.
Out of all those cars, I also found the IS to have the best seats.
Yes, Lexus power is dead last, but reliability is second to none.

Curious as to what you're driving right now to call the IS "a piece of *****"?
