Default Front-View Camera Product Search Help!

hi guys and gals,

i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. i'm looking for a front-view camera that comes with a switch or button of some sort so that i could control it via the cabin.

i was browsing amazon earlier and i found a lot of cameras but none with oem-ish buttons included.

thank you in advance for your help!

I thought you already knew about Beatsonic front camera solution? I don't think there's anything else on the market today that's specifically made for Lexus IS.

An easier solution I found is that you can buy a two way dash cam, with front and rear camera.
You can mount the smaller rear camera behind the front bumper and that would act as your parking "sensor".
Now you have both a recording dash cam and a front bumper view. One stone, two birds.

Don't think dash cams are weatherproofed well enough for that application.

They can easily install it without issues if you're willing to pay for labor. Taking off the Nav screen is actually quite easy compared to installing Nav in motion override box install which requires difficult radio unit removal. For Beatsonic front camera switch you only need to install the box behind Nav screen and then routing the cable from front bumper through firewall.

That won't work. Weather proofing is one thing just like someone mentioned and then reverse camera are actually mirrored image. It can't be used for front.

The unit I have can flip, mirror, flip&mirror the second camera all you like, so the image orientation is not a problem.
If you want a weather proof camera, just buy one with a standard mini-usb connection that will go to the main unit. It is very possible.
Much easier than the beatsonic where you have to re-wire the OEM harness and take apart the entire front dash.

taking apart the dash only takes 5-10 mins tops, 8 screws in total and your nav screen is out... the beat sonic set is a plug and play so 100% reversible with no wire splicing even. the most time consuming part is taking off the front bumper to mount the camera which you have to do with any camera if you want it to be nice and hidden instead of an eye sore of a piece that sticks out.

How far do you live from Beatsonic? I'm sure they can install it for you, they have done many many cars.
