Has anyone else noticed that the F Sport sounds louder than the base model?

Is anyone able to confirm if the intake and/or exhaust are the exact same on both models??

I know theirs a bunch of other obvious differences between the 2 models, but I've never heard of this being one of them.

Its the same, unless it has the F-Sport exhaust in it which does not come standard with the F-Sport.

If you get the F sport exhaust, which is a dealer installed option, it will sound louder. I don't think the F-Sport vs Non sound much different.

Are these facts?

We have both cars, which is why I was asking. And the F Sport one does not have the optional F Sport exhaust system.

The '17 IS FSPORT has a "new" option called ASC (Active Sound Control), its a wheel **** on the bottom left under the driver's vents.

This pumps, imo, artificial-digital engine noise into the cabin. Thus, making it "louder".

This might had been the cause if it was turned up.

I have a 2017 IS F sport. Unless I am completely not seeing this feature I do not believe all F sport models come with this feature. Am I wrong?
