Default F sport exhaust part # difference - any change?

The new F sport exhaust part # is PTR03-00160 and the old was PTR03-53140
I'm trying to find the actual difference - is it just a simple part # change to merge the IS & RC parts together, different manufacturer and/or any change in sound, tone (and drone) ???
Has anyone physically seen or heard both to comment?

i doubt there is any difference. i recently bought the fsport exhaust for my rc350awd in lexus woodfield and used my 20% off card i got them from them. i am totally sold for fsport exhaust.. i coulda went other after martket (borla, apex..etc.) but it was too loud for me.. fsport has nice a lil sound...it doesnt sound cheap at all which i like. but it doesnt add much hp which the only catch but it still part of warranty and still "lexus" part.overall i like it and i like the sound..its loud enough to get attention..

Which part # did you install ? The old one has PTR03-53140 stamped on the pipes near the flange mounts. I had the old # system on my 16 RC350awd F sport and found it annoying when calmly cruising around 45mph and 1500 rpm when you can feel vibe in the seat and center console. Sounded awesome on acceleration, but found the constant hum a little annoying, especially after driving an hour or more. After a few thousand miles it got louder and was beginning to be intrusive even in cruise. I was kinda hoping the new part # extended the tip out farther and maybe toned it down a bit.

Agree with you on the the F-Sport Exhaust being great. It's clean. Coupled with an intake it has a nice clean deep sound. Turns heads all day. (With there was a quad tip option but the the stainless steel muffler is polished and shiny, it looks really nice from behind)

Well as Holiday fate would have it I just ended up with a new F Sport PTR03-00160 exhaust. It looks identical to the old PTR03-53140 so it appears the only change was just in part #. I assume it will result in the same dislikes I had with the previous one so I may just sell it. If anyone in Chicago area reads this and is interested PM me.
