Cost of labor for lowering your car?
#16
I'd say $300 to $600 is fair. If it is a reputable shop you have to realize they have to pay for overhead, direct/indirect labor, etc. If you can get it done cheaper that is great. I'd rather pay a little more if I know the quality of work will be better.

It really all depends on where you're located. Its best if you go into the local forum page and ask members in your area. Down here in SoCal, I paid $150 to have install springs.

RSR springs installation
I am planing to lower my car, and I am getting some ridiculous quotes for the labor.
$300 from a shop, $560 from my friend's brother.
They both claim it is a 6 hours job?
My last car I paid a meal of an in & out burger to lower my car by replacing springs and structs, and it only took about 2 hours.
How much did you pay to lower your car?
I mean dam, I know I live in San Francisco, but this is crazy.

There are about 6 guides on this site. Don't pay $1k, go to a garage day or diy.
