Default 2017 3IS rear diffuser on a 2014 3IS?

Is the 2017 3IS rear diffuser a direct bolt-on to the 2014 3IS?
Thinking of swapping out mine.

Do the majority of 3IS owners prefer the uodated diffuser? Post a pic when you swap it in, Chedeng. Call up your local stelaership for the part#.

Yup, will definitely switch to the stock rectangular tips or I might even upgrade to quad tips if I got ahead with it.

My dealer told me $379 for the diffuser and $315 each for the 2017 exhaust tips. Seems good for the diffuser but pretty pricey on the tips.

$379 that's too much. In my country cost around $200 for the 2017 F-sport diffuser

I love the diffuser refresh on my 2017. I had a 2015 before this car and I wanted to get an aftermarket diffuser, but now I'm just going to keep it stock.

Damn $315 each?? Is that for just the tips that go over the exhaust? I have my stock 2017 axleback exhaust on Craigslist for $200...... lol.

Yup, looks like 52108-53060 is the correct part number.
To those who have swapped out diffusers, how easy is it to remove it? Is there a proper technique/sequence to it? Is it all just held by clips?
I'm just a little anxious about breaking clips.

You have to remove the bumper in order to get the diffuser off.
Taillamps also have to be removed
Place blue masking tape on bumper right under the taillight so when you pull out you dont scratch your bumper because i have before.

Once you install it, before switching to the new tips, could you show us how a stock '14-16 exhaust tip sits on correlation with this diffuser? I am curious how off it looks and how far back it sits

i don't know what the majority wants or doesn't want. but i don't like the updated diffuser. i like the simplicity of the pre-refresh diffuser than the new one which imo looks boy racer ricer-ish.

Hmmm, looks a little more involved than I expected. I thought you can pop it off with the bumper attached.
