I just bought a used Lexus IS350 2014 and the navi screen looks damaged to me . The dealer said it's just foul on the screen but I don't believe it is. It's not bubbles. I attached some pictures. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to get a brand new screen which I'm guessing would be costly. Thank you for any help.
I just bought a 15 IS250. My screen looks bad. I'm only at 48k miles. Mine should be replaced or fixed under the warranty, correct?
Yes should apply to 2015 also.
They revised it Midway in 2015 models after finding out about the problem. 2016 should not experience this issue.
The anti glare coating on the pre-revised came off super easy. All it took us a wet water microfiber towel and do a quick rub and it'll start making marks.
My dealer refused to replace mine. They also refused to replace my ECU despite my 2014 is350 falling under the TSB description.
You guys with the helpful dealers are lucky.
What was their reasoning? Not that bad yet? Make it worse with just a damp microfiber and do some quick rubs. It will get worse looking very fast without much effort

Go to different dealership.
Show them the TSB
Is there a TSB for the screen? I showed them the one for the ECU and dead battery. They just told me they would replace the screen if it looked like a warranty problem, which they wound up saying, didn't look like one.
I havent had a single good dealer experience yet. The closest one is 157mi one way, so I just have to live with the annoying issues I guess. At least it's not engine or transmission failure, right?
