Default Default Source > Media Option?

Is there a way to default the media to play music as soon as I plug in my iPhone, either via Bluetooth or USB?

I'm tired of always going to Source > iPhone

If you leave it in the source you want. It will automatically play from it.

For example. I always listen to the lexus app suite, pandora. I leave it on that source at times. Whenever I start the car, it will automatically play pandora for me.

Yea I always use Spotify on my iPhone, and whenever I start up the car it'll automatically reconnect it and start playing music from where I left off. Even if I switch between radio and media it'll remember my phone. I'm not sure which source/app you're using though so I can't say it's the same in all situations. When you're done listening each time do you unpair your bluetooth connection?

Toyota/Lexus Stereos do not automatically play what is connected to the USB port, you have to manually select it. But if that was your last source you used at shutdown of the vehicle, it should resume automatically at next startup.

You might need to plug in Iphone into USB port of the car first and then start the car up. Then it may be able to resume at last source it left off at shutdown of the vehicle.

I use a USB stick for music. I leave it permanently plugged into the USB port. If I shut the car off with the USB playing, when I restart, it starts from the last spot on the USB.
Assuming it will treat the phone the same way, plug it in before you start the car, and unplug it after you shut the car off.

I do the same, got a 16GB USB so i can put as much music on it without ever worrying to fill it up. I have the tiny USB which plugs in and doesn't even interfere with closing the armrest (was like 6 bucks on Amazon).
Only thing that sucks is when I want to load more songs onto it I always seem to forget to unplug it to go put more music on it, and then the endless cycle goes on of forgetting lol.

My USB is about 2 inches long and the damn lid still closes...holy crap! I thought for sure it was going to hit.
