i have a 2015 is250 fsport crafted line with a dent in the hood. any suggestions on how to get it out or do i have to purchase a whole entire new hood? any suggestions??
dent in hood
^^ Its hard to tell from that pic as the dent is not easily viewable but if the paint is not broken, you could try a dent repair company.....They specialize in removing dents without having to paint which is the best way to go if you can do it. Its always more difficult in area where there is a crease but still doable.
Look inside the hood where the dent is and see if there is a supporting rib.
If no rib, then better the chance a Paintless Dent Repair tech can get the dent out.
i opened the hood and it has had some black thing i'm assuming that is the rib i try to pull it and look
under where the dent is located and it appears to have a double side like hollow so there is no dent under the hood. and it is right on the crease

Ashlee23 - Thanks for the new pics, I see the dent better now. It should be fixable without too much problems. Since its on the crease line, it may not be 100% rectified but close enough that unless you knew it, you wouldn't see it. I would try a shop that specializes in dent repairs - that is their thing and more likely to get a better price.
Keep up posted and I love the fact your IS is white, mine is too I wished I lived in Florida though, damn Canadian weather means in a few months, snow will be about to start coming down our way
I have a dent in the exact same spot, guy up here says it will cost $250 to fix it, I will be getting it fixed soon. I had the Hood already wrapped in clear wrap so that saved any paint damage!
