Been looking around for wheel options for my car, and it might come down to cosmis racing r1 hyper bronze wheel for my Ultra White F Sport
My car is currently stock, and might have plans to lower the car with RSR down.
I want the car to have a flush look while using the widest tires possible, I do not want the stretch look.
I also want to go with 19s, what is the best tires and wheels fitment for me?
If that's the only size they have, then you'd be better off going with a 255/30/19.
The 255 is actually almost the same as the factory circumference tire.
Although, with the +35 offset it's likely going to rub on the fenders if you lower it or during turns (at stock height).
Not every 255/30/19 has the same Tread Width. If you look on tirerack.com at a few different tires manufacturers in that size, you will notice the Tread Width is not all the same (when you click the Specifications tab).
They will be close, but some 255's are narrower. I would pick a tire with the smallest Tread Width to give you the most clearance possible.
Hopefully it's enough to avoid any rubbing.

If you did the 18X8.5 +35 square setup with a 255/35/18 you'd be ok.
Not sure you'd be totally happy with the way it looks though.
The 19 inch is a way better look.

There is a member that has those same wheels on a 3IS...you could PM him and see if he could provide the specs...and if he has any rubbing issues.
I think I have to agree with you, 19s definitely looks better.
Thanks for finding the page, you have been nothing but helpful, now let's hope he respond.
Hey there! I literally just made an account so i can ask but i see its an old thread. I was wondering, did u end up getting these wheels ? I am looking into them myself and i dont know if what i am looking into will require fenders being rolled and whatnot. I am currently completely stock on my 16 is350 fsport (nebula grey). I want to keep the wheels at 19 but lower the car slightly (just to eliminate stock wheel gap) with BC coil overs. Would the offset of the hyprebronze wheels toward the bottom be an issue for rear ?

Welcome to the forum!
Some have noted rubbing with 19x9.5 +35 on the rear when lowered.
However, if you plan to install coilovers then you can control the height, so ultimately if it rubs, you can just raise it a little.
It also depends with size and brand of tire you use...265 vs 255 and a wide tire like a Michelin or a narrower tire like a Firestone.

Nice ! Thanks a ton for the response. That gives me a ton more confidence with making the purchase. 1st time buying aftermarket parts.
I’m new here as well! I’m having trouble with fitment
Hey guys! I’m new to this site and slightly new to my IS. I got her back in Dec 2023 and I’ve been loving it.
I’ve done a few things here and there but now I’m stuck on wheels and tires…
I too made an account here to hopefully get some answers and join in on the community.
I have a 2014 Lexus IS350 F-sport RWD
I am lost when it comes to finding the right rim and tire for vehicles unless it’s something somewhat near the OEM size.
The wheel I’m looking at
is the Cosmis XT-006R in Hyper Candy Red.
They come in 18x9.5 +10 or 18x9 +30 for the 18 inch wheels. I would really like the wheel to have a deeper look which is why I prefer the +10 offset, but I'm worried the wheel will poke out too far in the front and I’m not sure if they would cause any other issues besides a 1-2 mph difference in Speedometer reading.
Would these fit right? Along with 245/40 in a square setup?
Also, I’ve been considering getting RSR Downs so idk if I need to worry about that with the wheels rubbing.
