Is 28k out the door a reasonable offer to make on a 2014 IS 350 F Sport?

Sorry, I read wrong. I thought you meant you were offered a 28k quote.
Yes, a dealership will sell you a 2014 IS350 for over 35k. IS250 are selling at about 32k. And a trade in value of IS350 is 32k (my 2014 is350 f sport with 17k miles)

My Buying Experience...
It all really depends on what you're looking for? I mean, if a dealer is saying 28k out the door for a 2014 IS350 F-Sport...is it the color scheme you want on the interior and exterior? It has the F-Sport package, but does it come with any other packages? Navigation Package? Mark Levinson Premium Sound? Is the mileage on the car right for you, does it bother you that its high?
That was the price I initially wanted pay last year (2016) in September. I wanted to pay 28k out the door with taxes, title and licensing included. I started looking on car gurus and began comparing prices. I'm in Texas, but was looking all over the US. I guess it can depend on the markets around you. While comparing prices, options and mileage (which is what it really comes down to), I began to get realistic. At the time 28k out the door (means the dealership is selling it for 26k because 2k go to taxes, title and licensing). It was unrealistic for me, unless I wanted to get an 2014 IS350 with around 60k miles or more. Or I would have to have settled for an IS250 (which was not an option).
I ended up buying a 2014 IS350 F-Sport Rwd, it had 26,xxx miles, price out the door was 33,800. I was able to get them down to 31,800, but then I still had to pay the 2,000 for Taxes, Title and Licensing. Most important it was the color scheme I really wanted, Nebula Gray Exterior with Red/Rioja Interior. It had the Navigation Package and Mark Levinson system, two other options I really much wanted. I got peace of mind with the semi low miles it had. When i ended up getting the car delivered to me (bought it from Dallas/Fort Worth area and had it delivered to South Texas), the car had little add ons like, Wheel Locks, F-Sport key gloves, Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, Rear Bumper Applique Film, So I was happy with my purchase.
I have not looked at the market on what 2014 IS350 are going for now. Just wanted to share my buying experience with you. Do your research and good luck on finding an IS that fits your budget.
Regards.
