Ah I see. I'm actually stationed at Lewis in the Army. I've only seen a handful of 3gen IS on post so I was interested when I saw your IG. Haha. Well if you ever see a silver IS with a black wrapped roof then that's me.

Yup, that's them. Honestly, I'd probably just cut them off, and buy some from an autoparts store. I put an "F" over the front of my stock logo, and I tried pulling off those washers, and the posts broke. I ended up using some double sided 3M tape to make sure the top of the emblem stayed in place. If I had to do over again, I'd have cut them off while the logo was still in the grill.
Did you get the stock emblem off yet?
Where do people get that "F" logo from? I've heard it's from some guy on Instagram.
I grabbed the aluminum F logo from RR Racing. I don't recommend getting it if you have adaptive cruise control and want to keep it cause it replaces the whole emblem.
Do you know how to remove the emblem with a collision sensor? I have a 2017 is 200t which has a sensor behind the emblem. Tried to replace the emblem but the sensor is too hard to remove.
