Default All audio controls stopped working

I drove my 2015 IS250 (bought used a couple of weeks ago) on its first day trip and when I parked I realized that all audio controls were unresponsive. I couldn't power off, change channel or change the volume from the steering wheel/radio controls or the "mouse". I was only able to get the controls back after powering the car off and restarting.

Anybody else seen this issue? This is my 3rd issue that might require warranty work in a very short period of ownership. This is starting to worry me.

There are a few owners that have experienced the same unresponsiveness as you. Get it checked out at the dealer and they may apply the latest firmware update to resolve the issue.

Some threads that speak to your issue:

Good luck

If it helps, I also learned from here that you can hold down the radio power button to force it to reboot without having to shutdown the car. It's super annoying when you're driving and stuck on a music track or radio station that you don't like.

The dealer I "was" servicing at kept saying they can't reproduce it and therefore no fix. I've changed to a new one. Planning to ask the new dealer about the firmware at the next service interval.
