UPDATE:

So the CF cover for the OEM shift **** came & I had it installed. Really easy with 3M double side tape.

Fitment: It is pretty decent, I tried to best to line it up and cover all the silver OEM trim. However, if you look super close, there is very slight gaps. I think its because the 3M tape isn't as strong to hold the edges?

Quality: It is real carbon fiber (according to seller). It has good reflection and very smooth to the touch. However, it leaves slight finger prints.

Overall, the product is nice and quality is there. Fitment could use a tad bit work, but I can't complain, its very hard to tell the tiny gaps unless your looking at eye level. But is it worth the money? I paid $40 for this, and I honestly would have had the same results with a vinyl wrap (it would be cheaper too). The only pro with this product is that it can be taken off easily since its only attached with 3M tape.

P.S - The packaging was excellent, came in a nice and sturdy box, and the actual CF piece was wrapped in foam.

I saw that too. But I'm more.leaning towards swapping the whole steering wheel for carbon fiber. I've seen some dctms ones on the forums, they are sick. Pricey tho.

You can always get it wrap in real cf. I had a guy name Matt that done it for me and his website is ocarbon.com. All you gotta do is send in your oem parts. If you have the patience, he took about 2 months to do mines. I had like 12 pieces done in and I had a 2 tone as well. You can see my build thread. He does 2 tone in black and blue. I did mines in red and black to match my interior

It does look real good. How much did he charge? & U basically drove around with a trimless car? lol

But, the 4D/5D cf wrap looks just as good on the window switches. Did you do that yourself?

Talking Update

so i did buy the lower steering wheel cover and the fitment is spot on! Looks great and is high quality really finishes off all the other CF pieces I have , oh and by the way the color and pattern is legit looks like real CF really liking this little touch I did to complete my interior CF mods. If u have CF in your interior I would recomend this piece for sure.https://www.google.com/search?q=cf+s...Jr4G0g8HALJvM:.

Talking Keep in mind

this is only gonna look right if you do all the other pieces in CF .....otherwise I think it would just look out of place ...I'm not saying that you have to buy all of the other pieces because I just wrapped all of mine in the 5D carbon fiber vinyl( as you can see in my build thread) but like I said before it really matches up with everything else that I've done and really completes the CF interior "look"

I'm working with a friend to Hydro dip the interior parts rather than wrap with vinyl. Did you wrap all of the steering wheel parts? The large piece in the middle, the two little corner pieces and the paddle shifters. How about the badge on the wheel?

Looking for some advice on taking the steering wheel apart to remove the grey plastic pieces.
