Default Can't fit negative offset?

A rep from Forgestar told me I couldn't run 18x9.5 with a negative offset, or close to negative offset cause they'd stick out way too much. He was trying to get me to buy 19s but I don't want to fork up the extra cash for tires.
Is he right? I'm sitting on coils so I can't adjust the height if I need to and I planned on getting my fenders rolled & pulled.

3rd Gen IS runs like 20x9 +35 all around. or 20x9 +35 and 20x10 +45 or something of that sort for the best fitment stock or lowered.

Really depends if you want poke, tuck, or flush. And how much camber you are willing to run.
For example, I'm going with tuck with it almost on the fender.
Front: 19x9.5 +19 -3 Degrees Camber
Rear: 19x10.5+22 -7-8 Degrees Camber

I think I talked to one of your guys about it this morning. I really don't want to go any bigger then 18s. So in my case I can't get SDC? How much would it stick out?

For the Super Deep Concave, the rears can only go down so much for the offset so here's a list of them at their max highest offset.

18x9.5 +23
18x10 +30
18x11 +43
18x12 +55

You could fit a 18x9.5 +23 or the 18x10 +30 in the rear.. you're probably looking at about a 1" poke but you can combat that with stretched tires and negative camber... or do a fender pull.. honestly I think a fender pull doesn't look good on the new IS body lines.

is this IS250 or a 350? F sport or Non fsport.

So a 18x9.5 +23 SDC, all around with stretched tires, pulled/rolled fenders could fit then, right?
Its a F Sport, IS250

Check this guy's car out. He has 19x9.5 +40 in the rear with 255/30/19 tires. So at half an inch more than that on the rear, your tires would pretty much be AT the rear quarter panel.

For the front, you'll be looking at almost a full inch more than what he has.

So.. you CAN fit but you'll be looking at some major tire stretch or some negative camber adjustments. You have the bigger F Sport brakes on there? You have a photo of the front wheel with the brakes showing? SDC isn't known to fit over most big brakes unless you get them in their lowest offset possible.

No, brakes are stock. My biggest issue is going with 19s, but the SDC look is too killer..

So pretty much I need to go 19x9.5 all around if I want SDC?

If indeed they are the standard floating type calipers and not anything like the large ones the IS350 F Sport gets, then you shouldn't have an issue with the SDC.

did some searching for you
