I covered several interior pieces from my 2014 Lexus IS250 with real Alcantara fabric purchased from JPM Supply Company on the internet. I paid $104/yard which is what real Alcantara should cost and I used 3M spray adhesive to adhere it to the plastic trim pieces. Shipping was $35. Overall I spent approximately $500. I also covered the steering column cover and lower dash underneath the steering wheel.

Theres a link to a video I made of the process and showing some finished pieces.
I can but it would be very expensive. I'm not doing my dashboard in my Lexus. I'll post some pics of the interior door trim pieces that I covered in Alcantara.
looks like a lot of wasted time/money to be honest
^ Personal preference that is what it's about. It looks different in person and the video doesn't do it justice. Some people like the look of Alcantara and others don't.

Yeah I understand, no offence. I do like alcantara on steering wheels though.
No offense taken my friend. Downside to the steering wheel Alcantara is the oils from your hands over time will wear spots in the Alcantara. Below is a Lamborghini with black Alcantara Interior that I saw in person. Looked incredible but again it's personal preference.
