I did this same thing my car last year. PDR wouldn't work and I wound up needing full blown body work to fix it. $600 and two days, but it came out perfectly.

 

That's an area that can't be PDR
will need body worked and repaint

 

+1, PDR has a limit in what can be done and not. Looks like this is beyond PDR procedure.

Yea.. I had similar damage in this area on another vehicle. It's one area that cannot be repaired using PDR since there is no access from behind.

This looks to be an expensive area to repair at a body shop. I think this panel is laser welded to the roof and the same panel on the other side of the car so the costs could be exorbitantly high if they deem replacement necessary.... Let us know what they quote you.
