well...i'm coming from driving a c6 vette for the last 9 years. vette mirrors are smaller/lower. i'm 5'8" and sit in a pretty normal position i believe. i just think if the mirrors were smaller and lower they'd be less of an obstruction. oh well.

My unreasonable wish list

1. Improved auto start
I wish it won't turn off when doors are unlocked/opened. I feel like i'm putting extra strain on my starter/engine when i have to start it again after like 10 minutes

2. Navigation
Get rid of the "safety feature" that won't allow me to use the menus while car is in motion. Or at least give me the option to turn this feature off. Also i would rather not have the "hockey puck". either dial like idrive or "pad" found in RCs

3. Heated steering wheel
This doesn't really bother me that much but I don't understand why the entire steering wheel is not heated.

4. Transmission
Instead of having normal-manual, add extra step in between (normal - m/s - manual) like BMWs or infinitis (maybe rev matching also)

5. F-sport package
Wish it would include fog lights, memory seats and dimming/tilting side mirrors

6. Exhaust
This was somewhat solved by installing a catback exhaust but personally i felt like car was way too quiet for being a "sporty" sedan in stock form.

7. Blind spots
I feel like every time i turn either the a-pillars or the mirrors are blocking my view. (Its hard to explain)

When I put my car into Sport/Sport+ Drive mode, I feel like it accomplishes this just fine. Although it affects other settings on the car, it also has the same effect that putting my 2007 335i into sport shift mode did, by pushing the shifter to the left, but not activating manual mode.

My big request would be to get more customization within the drive modes. Why can't I have heavier steering, and stiffer suspension, but be able to cruise down the highway in 8th gear without manually placing it in 8th?

Also, my 2004 BMW had auto-tilt-down passenger's side mirror, for when the car's in reverse. What reason is there that this cannot be a standard feature on all Lexus models regardless of trim?

Let me get the ML sound without adding the terrible and unnecessary nav! I miss my BMW's logic7 system with subwoofers under the front seats.
