Default Mark levinson or premium stereo

Is there a big difference in the sound quality, volume and/or base between the mark levinson and the regular premium stereo? Worth getting?

^^Yep, definitely worth getting the ML. Its one of the best factory sound systems and is rather cheap compared to the competition

^^ I just came out of a '12 Acura TL with the ELS system, which is quite good... the ML sounds better. I am loving it. ML makes MP3's on a USB stick sound more than decent

There is a difference - but how 'big' the difference is depends on your taste

In my opinion, you should go over to the nearest Lexus dealership and drive one with ML, and one without, and decide for yourself. I had ML in my previous Lexus, and this time, I drove one with ML and one without ML - and decided that the one without ML was good enough for me. There is a difference, yes, but I felt that it was not as good as the ML that I had in my previous car.

Yes the Premium is surprisingly very nice.
I'd say close or as good as the ML I had in a ES350 I owned.
The '13 GS I would think is better but I'm happy.

Yes I agree it is pretty good, although this was the first GS I didn't get with ML since I had bad experiences with the 3GS. The 4GS ML is better as I have sat in one and kind of regret not getting it.

I had an '08 GS with ML and I didn't like it at all.
Too heavy on the center channel sound and no ability to adjust it.
No doubt the '13 with ML is much better,

No dealers in the northeast carry any with the ML sound system.. I could not find 1 dealer that has the ML system in a car within 300 miles of me 10 dealers!!
I wonder why dealers do not order any with the ML sound system, maybee there is not that big of a difference?
when i build one online also it does not even have the option of adding a ml??

Yep that was one of the reasons I didnt get it, the wait time for a new GS would have been to long.

definitely worth it. i think the best sounding upgraded audio other than the 5k+ bang and olfsen or Burmester Audio.

the speakers sound so warm and it has a very wide sound field. doesn't have TOO much bass, but overall sounds fantastic.
