Not sure if this is a glitch or a new feature but I just noticed that you do not need the Lexus Enform app running in the background in order to use Enform suite in the car. I was completely surprised when Pandora and Saved destinations were working when the app isn't even in the background. I checked the app history from iOS and it's not there. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

BTW, I'm on iOS 10 with iPhone 6s. I didn't think Apple would allow apps to run in the background indefinitely.

 

No such luck with me in my GS (same nav as IS). Just this morning I had an error because my phone shut down the Enform app while I was opening Pandora.

 

This is pretty weird because I just checked it again and same thing. Enform app isn't running but I'm able to get Pandora and Save destinations were syncing. Are you using iPhone with iOS 10? I'm going to reboot my phone to see if it's just a bug in iOS. It's very convenient not to have to launch enform app prior to using in car suite.

Edit: Nevermind. After I had rebooted it doesn't work anymore without app running in the background. Damn iOS bug gave me hope. Oh well...
