No, if you put it off to the right side of the cd slot then it won't and place the magnet more towards the bottom half of the phone instead of dead center it doesn't get in the way of the shifter.

Could you take a couple pictures of the mount in the car? preferably with the phone on the mount if you could. Thanks!

you spent money on a lexus. why cheap out on a generic cell phone holder that isn't going to work well?

Yes, I know I am old school but I carry my phone in my pocket all day. When I get in the car I turn on Bluetooth and all is good. It is against the law here to text or talk on the phone while driving. I just don't see the need for any kind of cell phone holder. My pocket works just fine. Again, one man's opinion.

Aloha,
Larry

does your Bluetooth display the contents and senders of the emails in your inbox in real time?

No idea. If the phone rings I answer it. Anything else waits until I stop driving.

Ventmounts.com that's the best phone mount I've ever seen. There are similar products on amazon for around $10, but I like this brand most.

There are many of us that use the our phones for maps/navigation, traffic apps, and music streaming.

Does not show emails. However, it does show Text Messages if you allow so. The car will read the text, and have option to reply with preset text messages.

I bought this and it works really well. I mounted it in between the seat warmer buttons, slightly towards the passenger side. Just enough room to move the shifter
