Hey everyone,

This morning i parked my 2016 IS350 at the back of a large parking lot. All of a sudden an extremely loud squealing sound came from underneath the car. I suspect the sound is coming from the brakes... Possibly small gravel may have lodged itself in the brakes? It is very loud and only happens when i move. I checked all over the car and couldn't find anything. Any ideas??

 

probably as you say a rock in the brakes. try braking hard in reverse to dislodge it. at worst youll have to remove the wheel and see if you can remove it by hand.

 

yep. We have cinders on the road here during winter. Happened to me twice. Had to have schwab take it out. I think it has something to do with the metal plate around the rotor

 

Thanks guys! It came dislodged with some aggressive braking and acceleration. It was the most fun I had in the car since I purchased it. I felt bad for the it after lol
