Steering - Creaking Sound
Good thought Patrix. You may be right.
I have to say, I don't remember hearing the creak while driving slowly without applying the brakes. The noise was always heard as I was applying the brakes while pulling into my driveway or into a parking space. I don't recall ever hearing it while braking slowly and traveling in a straight direction.
So yes, the combination of turning the wheel while braking caused the noise... but only while doing both together, at the same time.

I just bought mine about a month ago pre-owned and have noticed this to, my car was a L/Certified so im sure if there were any issues it would have been addressed, it only seems to happen when my steering wheel is hard over left or right
In other news, George Lopez has a pretty huge head.
Our 2015 IS 250 with only 6k occasionally does that and I thought it was the wide tires rubbing on the inside suspension as I first heard it when maneuvering on our driveway and the wheel was turned all the way. I'm just getting to drive this car as it was my daughters. I read in the service history that she complained about this and the dealer said they were not able to reproduce and no repair done.
I get a creaking sound when I make right turns, typically only when it's an off-camber turn and I'm turning onto a hill (even a very slight hill). To me, it sounds like it's coming from a suspension part and has nothing to do with applying brakes. I'm going in this weekend for my 30k maintenance and I'm going to make sure they pay attention to my shocks/struts when they look it over.
They were never able to reproduce the problem and I didn't have it afterwards, so I let it be. A lot of the minor squeaks and things with this car are so intermittent, its impossible to reproduce them in front of the dealer.
This happens to me on cold start, wheel turned all the way to the right, going over a speed bump, hear a creaking from right side of car suspension (front).. When the car is warmed up, I don't hear it again
