Im looking into a Takeda intake, my question is what is the difference between the two options and which would be better?

Pro DRY S and Pro 5R

One is a dry flow filter, and the other one is oiled. Dry is better imho on MAF equipped vehicles because putting too much oil can contaminate the MAF and cause problems.

and having to oil a filter is just a PITA anyway...

All my customers with the Takeda intake go with the oiled one. They haven't complained about it yet..
